Origin Story

2-Stroke Glass @2_stroke_glass (Instagram) began in the summer of 2013. After teaching flameworking for a couple of years at Virginia Commonwealth University, and working landscaping in the summers, a yung 2-Stroke struck out to Missoula, Montana for the summer and made a go at Pipemaking.  Working from his buddy Casey's(KSO Glass) home studio, Stroke dove headfirst into crafting beautiful pipes with street intelligence.
Tightweave and Heliocoileh have been the signature patterns since day one, and have expanded to include many murrine variations.   Signature pipe forms include Stirrup Spout Rigs, Shredder tubes, Kazû, Hammer Kazû, & Kobura Kazû dry pipes.   Other notable 2Stroke forms include fully functional Teapots, and stepfooted cups that have been in his repetoire for approximately 20 years.
